New SoundPacks Allow Fans to Play Along with Film The Gamers: Dorkness Rising With Encounters, Music, Dialog and Movie One-Shots
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (October 25, 2016) – Syrinscape, creator of the award-winning apps that put the power of custom, movie-like sound effects, soundscapes, music, and dynamic tabletop audio solutions at the fingertips of the gamer, and Zombie Orpheus, announce today the release of the Zombie Orpheus: Mask of Death and Shadow’s Dungeon SoundPacks.
The Zombie Orpheus: Mask of Death SoundPack allows players to play through the Pathfinder RPG adventure based on the movie The Gamers: Dorkness Rising. The SoundPack includes the official music soundtrack and one-shots from the movie, trigger-able lines from its numerous villains – “You are not welcome here!,” “Death is a natural thing,” “Come, come to Drazuu!,” “Gobble gobble!” – as well as holy church music, a huge battle with a sentient tree, an ooze demon, an undead chicken one-shot and more.
With the Zombie Orpheus: Shadow’s Dungeon SoundPack, players will uncover a secret about the world as they learn whom the Shadow is targeting with his devious plan. Based on the Zombie Orpheus: Shadow’s Dungeon module which bridges the events in the Dorkness Rising and Hands of Fate films, the Shadow’s Dungeon SoundPack has players infiltrating the Shadow’s lair and culminates with an encounter that matches the scene from the film. The SoundPack includes the film’s official music soundtrack and NPC one-shots by actor Brian S. Lewis, as well as a waterfall cave, barghests and guns, a shadow mastiff battle, a boss battle with The Shadow and more.
“Syrinscape is not only an essential tool for game masters seeking to immerse their players into a scene, it’s become a crucial part of our live entertainment offerings,” says Ben Dobyns, Zombie Orpheus Entertainment executive producer. “These packs are ridiculous fun!”
Created by Chris Piazzo and Syrinscape, the Mask of Death and Shadow’s Dungeon SoundPacks are available now to Syrinscape subscribers or sold individually on Syrinscape.com for $9.99 each. For tips on incorporating sound into the campaigns, Syrinscape creator and Dicestormers host Benjamin Loomes demos the SoundPacks in this video.
The award-winning Syrinscape apps bring fantastic, realistic sound to tabletop gaming and are compatible with nearly any mobile device or computer. Syrinscape’s Fantasy Player, Sci-Fi Player and Board Game Player apps are free to download and the official sounds of Pathfinder, Mutants & Masterminds, Catan and hundreds of other sound creations for nearly any tabletop game are available for sale individually or as part of the Supersyrin Subscription for $10/month.
Syrinscape can also be completely unlocked for free for 30 days at Syrinscape.com/freetrial and includes two free SoundSets to keep after the trial.
