REDMOND, WA (December 16, 2015): Paizo Inc., publisher of the award-winning Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, announces today the release of A Song of Silver, the 100th volume in the Pathfinder Adventure Path, and number four of six in the current Adventure Path campaign, Hell’s Rebels, an urban- and political-themed campaign that focuses on a rebellion against one of the Pathfinder Campaign Setting’s most infamous nations—devil-haunted Cheliax.
Too long has the diabolic Lord-Mayor Barzillai Thrune inflicted cruelties and increasingly oppressive laws on his citizens. The heroes of the beleaguered city of Kintargo finally strike back at the sources of corruption, as their rebellion mobilizes in the streets. Rescuing old heroes from forgotten prison cells, reclaiming control of key locations, and performing an ancient song that was used years ago to protect the city from Hell's agents are but the preamble for the decisive battle—an assault on the enormous Temple of Asmodeus.
“When we first launched the Pathfinder Adventure Path in 2007, I was so concerned about its longevity that I made Paizo’s owner Lisa Stevens promise that, no matter what, we would release at least the first six volumes,” says Erik Mona, Paizo’s Publisher and Chief Creative Officer. “One hundred volumes later, we’re on our seventeenth campaign, with no end in sight. Here’s to 100 more volumes!”
