In Space, They Might Not Hear You Scream, but Swarm Attack and Quasi-Organic Vessel SoundSets Will Transport You to the Colony Faster than You Can Say Nostromo
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (March 10, 2015) – Syrinscape, developer of the app that creates custom soundscapes, effects, and music, announces today the release of the Swarm Attack and Quasi-Organic Vessel SoundSets for the Syrinscape Sci-Fi Player.
No ordinary bugs, the Swarm Attack SoundSet features eight-foot tall alien creatures with acidic blood, all legs and claws and mandibles, their structural perfection matched only by their hostility. Sounds like Hive Mother, Alien Shrieks, Insectoid Wails, and Small Scurrying Critters, remind players, sometimes the scariest things come from within. The SoundSet also includes gear for battling the bugs, such as a flamethrower, lasers, small arms projectiles, and rocket propelled grenades.
Those giant alien bugs come from somewhere, and adventurers will find themselves in the nest of organic pods in the Quasi-Organic Vessel SoundSet. Slimy walls, slippery floors, and vessels hung from every surface with gelatinous ooziness, players might want to back-out slowly, flamethrower at the ready. All the while, ambient power hums, electromagnetic heartbeats, transporter signals, organic telemetry, plasma bursts, and more, will have players calling for Mother.
The SoundSets can be purchased separately on Syrinscape for $3.99/each, as part of the Sci-Fi Monthly Subscription Package for $6.50/month, or as part of the Super Syrin Subscription Package for $10/month. The Syrinscape Fantasy and Sci-Fi Players are free to download, including two free SoundSets each, and are compatible with a wide range of devices, including PC, Mac, Android Tablets, and iPads. For more information, the free download, or to subscribe, visit syrinscape.com.
Syrinscape SoundPacks and SoundSets add a new dimension to the gaming table. In addition to creating the officially licensed SoundPacks for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Syrinscape creates general-purpose fantasy and sci-fi themed sounds that bring the soundtrack of gameplay to life, as well as the soon-to-be-released SoundSet Creator.
